MREM Graduate, Katherine Dalby, recently received the Editor's Choice recognition for their first-ever journal article titled "It's like a church": Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) hatchery and stocking programs as producers of capital in conservation-based social networks in Nova Scotia, Canada, in the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.
This work is an extension of their MREM graduate project, completed as part of a Maritimes-wide research project led by the FishPeoplePlace Lab on the social and human dimensions of Atlantic salmon hatchery and stocking programs.
