Â鶹´«Ã½ celebrated its newest graduates this past Tuesday (October 8) at Fall Convocation ceremonies.
The ceremonies were the first to be held at the Halifax Convention Centre. Earlier this year, Dal announced that Convocation ceremonies were moving to downtown Halifax in light of forthcoming renovations to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Arts Centre. (Read more.)
Among the excited graduates was a special guest of honour: filmmaker Selwin Jacob, who received an honorary degree from Â鶹´«Ã½. :
The ceremony was also a special one for Â鶹´«Ã½ Chancellor Anne McLellan: it was her final one as chancellor, as she's set to finish her term in early 2020. :
